TJ shook her head firmly at the idea. She had already promised and a respectable girl did not go back on her promises. Besides all of this thought on not wanting to do something than being forced to do it and then not deciding to do it was giving her a headache.
But luckily TJ had nothing to worry about. After checking the decks she had been assigned to she went to where Seth told her to meet and he was there, waiting for her. "He said he's talk to me tomorrow- in his office!" Seth said, excited. "Imagine that- he's treating me like a responsible StarDog!"
"Congradulations," TJ said politely, stifling a yawn. But suddenly she remembered a crucial part to her agreement. "So where are the chocolates?"
The innocent excitement vanished off of Seth's face as he turned to the girl with mock sincerity. "At first you said you wouldn't do it," Seth said, as seriously as he could. "So now the deal's off."
"Meaning that I won't get my chocolates?" TJ said, anger rushing into her voice.
Seth held up his hands, not even attempting to hide his smirk. "Sorry."
TJ just broiled over in rage. "So I guess then that you are the type of person that mommy said you were," she shouted. "A mischievous boy who likes to take advantage of people!"
"Shh!" Seth silenced her with menacing looks.
But the anger still stayed strong in TJ's heart. "Just you wait, Seth Goddard," she vowed, "Someday, when you're a high and mighty StarDog, someone will cut you down to size and you'll be nothing more than my inferior!'
Seth snorted, "We'll see about that," he said to his future employer.
